Seb has been a supermarket refrigeration engineer since leaving school at the age of 16. He has lived in and around London his whole life and has been heavily involved in the sporting community. He played football, squash and cricket from a young age. At the age of 14, he took up cycling. As it turns out – this was to become a significant hobby for Seb!

Having previously travelled extensively throughout South East Asia, he decided that now was a good time to continue his travels, this time in India. The Indian culture, landscape and general way of life had always appealed to him and it occurred to him that the best way to soak it all in would be through cycling.

As one of our patients, Seb has seen the Vineyard’s leaflets and collection box in our reception and knew we supported them and our collaboration grew from there. Seb has said the Vineyard “is the ideal charity and I would be honoured to cycle on their behalf.”

The Forge is sponsoring Seb and providing treatment to prepare for his trip. We will also be helping him recover when he returns. We all hope that through his adventure, we can raise awareness and money for the Vineyard.

Seb left for India on Saturday 28th December and had three treatments with our lead physiotherapist, David Silver, before he left. We will also be providing advice for the duration of his trip to keep him in top form.

Seb says: “I am hoping with Dave’s analysis and advice my knees – which have given me previous aggravation – will remain strong for the duration of my trip. It is comforting to have the clinic’s online assistance whilst I am away.”

We wish Seb every success with his trip and we will be giving you regular updates about his progress.
