happy babyFor years at The Forge Clinic, we have been offering treatment for babies and children, especially with the help of Involuntary Treatment techniques, like cranial therapy. We’re proud of our team’s enthusiasm and passion for their subject. All of our practitioners are constantly striving to improve their skill-set and offer you more. We’ll be checking in regularly to see who is studying what, so you will always know exactly what we can offer you.

Stephanie James is currently studying Paediatric Osteopathy at the Foundation of Paediatric Osteopathy. This is a two year post-graduate course that focuses on the needs of 0-18 year olds.

On a weekly basis, the course involves a day treating children of all ages, presenting with a wide spectrum of conditions. In a busy clinic in South London, you can imagine this is quite a challenge and a very hectic day!

The programme also includes treatment of children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Baby Units (SCBU). Again, this takes place in two busy London hospitals.

For the course, Stephanie has treated children in the acute paediatric ward and even premature babies in their incubators. This is worth bearing in mind if you’re wondering if your child or baby is too young for treatment. If babies in incubators can benefit from cranial osteopathy, don’t hesitate to book your baby in!

If you would like to bring your baby for treatment at The Forge, Stephanie is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays. She treats children of any age. Click here to book online.
