nutrition 3These days, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by all the health and nutrition information in the media. Every week there is a new diet that promises quick and easy weight loss. Every week there’s a new superfood or something that is bad for you.

It’s so easy to be confused by what foods are supposed to be ‘good’ for you. It’s also important to remember that different people need different things from their food intake. For example, Wimbledon champion Andy Murray consumes 6,000 calories a day of high-protein, high-carb food, to support his rigorous training regime. It’s is recommended that an average man, however, only needs around 2,500 calories a day.

Our nutritionist Julie Deeks works with you to provide nutrition programmes and advice to support your individual lifestyle, finding a diet that is tailored to your needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

There are a number of packages available that are specifically designed to offer focused support over a period of 6-8 weeks. These packages will target a specific area of health. Following your initial consultation with Julie, where you will establish your goals and agree to a plan of action, your progress will be tracked and you will meet for a further 2 visits. The intention is on your last visit you will leave us in better health with a maintenance programme to keep you on track for now and the future.
