Fertility, Pregnancy & Post Natal
CAN YOU TREAT FERTILITY ISSUES?
Acupuncture has been known to help when you are trying for a baby, as it can help you feel more positive and relaxed. Reflexology also seems to be helpful for managing stress. Many women undergoing fertility treatments will often have reflexology and acupuncture treatments, alongside the medical procedures being carried out by their doctor. These treatments can also support them through a difficult process.
I’M PREGNANT, CAN I BE TREATED?
We are able to offer treatment for pregnancy related concerns and some of our practitioners specialise in treating expectant mothers. Physiotherapist Lara Maddison and Osteopath Yasmin Jones can help with the biomechanical changes in the body which are related to pregnancy.
Massage Therapists Giuliana Newman and Marie Chabert both offer pregnancy massage to help manage stress and ease pregnancy-related aches and pains, after the first trimester.
Our acupuncturists Maureen McCann and Sandra O’Hagan are able to treat expectant mothers and can help with morning sickness. They also offer treatment to help with breach babies and induction acupuncture for overdue pregnancies.
Please note some treatments are only suitable after the first trimester. Please notify us of your pregnancy when you book so we can ensure you are seeing the correct practitioner.
CAN YOU HELP ME THROUGH MY PREGNANCY?
We offer a variety of solutions that help relax the mother using approaches such as Pilates, massage and acupuncture. Please contact us to discuss specific concerns which you need help addressing. For more information on prenatal advice from our specialists click here.
For more information on Acupuncture take a look at our fact sheet or if you’re looking for help with fertility issues click here.
CAN YOU HELP ME AFTER THE BIRTH OF MY CHILD?
We can help both you and your child after the birth. We offer babies cranial osteopathy, while you can have treatment with our women’s health specialist to help you get back in shape after pregnancy, by focusing on strengthening the pelvic floor.
Our Nutritional Therapist Julie Deeks can also help you adapt your diet after birth in order to give you, and your baby, all the nutrients you need. For more information on postnatal advice from our specialist team click here.
