Cath Barnes-Holt

Cath Barnes-Holt is an Acupuncturist and complementary healthcare practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting patients on their journey towards improved health and wellbeing. Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the connection between body and mind, shaped by extensive travel and study throughout South and East Asia.

Cath holds a First-Class BSc Hons degree in Traditional and Five Element Acupuncture and post graduate qualifications in several specialist areas, including a Diploma in Acupuncture for Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics. She combines evidence informed practice with a holistic approach to care. Cath is passionate about helping patients achieve balance, manage symptoms and improve their overall quality of life. Patients achieve sustainable improvements in their physical, emotional, and overall health, through personalised treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

Alongside her acupuncture practice, Cath is a qualified Level 3 Iyengar Yoga Teacher, massage therapist, reflexologist and Reiki Master Teacher. Using her varied background, she takes an integrated approach to supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing. Her treatments may incorporate a variety of traditional Chinese medicine techniques, including Acupuncture, Electroacupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping therapy, Guasha, Tuina massage.

Cath works collaboratively with her patients to address the root causes of health concerns, and provides practical, effective support throughout every stage of their health journey.
