Yasmin Jones

Osteopath & Cranial Osteopath

Bio

Yasmin is an Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath who takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care. She was initially drawn to osteopathy because of its focus on treating the individual as a whole, considering not only physical symptoms but also the wider factors that can influence health and recovery.

She treats a diverse range of patients, from babies and children to adults, athletes, office workers, and pregnant and postnatal women. Yasmin takes the time to understand each person’s individual circumstances, adapting her treatment and advice with kindness and consideration for where they are physically and emotionally in their healing journey.

Her treatments may include soft tissue massage, cranial osteopathy, joint mobilisation, stretching, medical acupuncture, and exercise prescription. She is particularly interested in helping patients understand their bodies and plays an active role in supporting them throughout their recovery.

Yasmin completed a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy through the Osteopathic Centre for Children, widely regarded as a leading course in paediatric osteopathy. During her training, she treated babies, children, and pregnant and postnatal women with a range of complex needs, including premature newborns on the Neonatal Starlight Ward at Barnet Hospital.

She has continued to develop her specialist knowledge through further training with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and through her clinical teaching roles.

Yasmin currently works as a Clinic Tutor at Health Sciences University, where she supports and supervises final year osteopathy students in the teaching clinic and in her spare time she enjoys Pilates, bouldering, hiking, banya, and snowboarding, with her love of outdoor pursuits stemming from her time spent in the Scottish Highlands.

Yasmin has a particular interest in caring for babies, children, and women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Her specialist areas include:

  • Paediatric Osteopathy– supporting babies and children at different stages of development
  • Pregnancy and Postnatal care– including support during the fourth trimester
  • Cranial Osteopathy– particularly in paediatric and pregnancy-related care
  • Caesarean Scar Therapy–  supporting recovery and mobility following caesarean birth
  • Musculoskeletal conditions
  • Acute pain and injury recovery

Yasmin works with children and adults of all ages and activity levels, adapting her approach to support everyone from recreational athletes and active individuals to office workers and those managing ongoing musculoskeletal concerns.
